Kamala Harris will not be president after running what is widely regarded as the most incompetent campaign in the history of American politics. The vice president assured us she was “gon’ win,” but she did not. She joins Hillary Clinton as the only Democrat to lose an election to Donald Trump. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors, and would like to thank her for all the wonderful moments of powerful rhetoric she delivered over these past few months.
Harris exuded joy and vibes while stressing the importance of understanding what needs to be done in terms of doing the work around recognizing the dreams and aspirations of the American people. She spoke eloquently of the public’s desire to “turn the page” and “write a new chapter” after four years of the Biden-Harris administration. She repeatedly struggled to answer easy, predictable questions, as she has throughout her upward-failing political career. She pointed out “things that need to be done, that haven’t been done, but need to be done.”
Since seizing the nomination from the ailing Joe Biden in July, our historic vice president reached out to “tha brothas” and “the Daddy Gang” for support. She sat down with Oprah and fantasized about shooting a burglar. She pretended to drink beer with Stephen Colbert. She told us “never again,” which accurately describes the number of times she will be asked to run for political office in the future. She tried her best. It wasn’t nearly good enough. We’re going to miss her when she’s gone.
