SHOT Show is always chock full of too many things to see in a week. Even if you try to focus on a couple of specific areas, you still likely can’t see everything. I was covering tactical knives for SHOT Show for Tactical Knives Magazine, but I ran into a number of them worth talking about that didn’t necessarily fall into that tactical definition. In no particular order, here are some that I thought worth highlighting from the week.

SHOT Show 2026 Knives Roundup

Boker Plus Kihon DC Alu

Boker always has a huge offering of new models every year at SHOT. One that caught my eye was the Kihon DC Alu, designed by custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley. It has an overall length of 7.83 inches and features a 3.22-inch uncoated blade made of Nitro-V steel with a thickness of 0.13 inches.

Weighing just 3.63 ounces, it includes a grey aluminum handle and a thumb stud for smooth manual opening. The blade is secured by a reliable crossbar lock. It’s a good-looking, lightweight knife that should be great for EDC use.

MSRP: $116.95

Case Knives XR Barlow

The Case XR Barlow is the latest model in the Crossroads Series. It’s a modern re-engineering of the classic early 1900s Barlow pattern designed for today’s everyday carry. It features a 2.5-inch S35VN stainless steel blade with a stonewash satin finish for exceptional edge retention and durability. The handle is available in either Tan or Black, and Tan Richlite with a smooth texture, complemented by an oversized black G-10 bolster bearing the signature ‘XX’ engraving.

Closed length is 3.38 inches. It’s built entirely in Bradford, PA, and Case intends the Crossroads knives to be users, not just put on display.

MSRP: $118.99

Civivi Slippy Sendy

The Slippy Sendy, designed by Ben Petersen, is a compact slip-joint folding knife with an overall length of 6.52 inches and a closed length of 3.7 inches. It features a 2.81-inch clip-point blade made of Nitro-V steel, hardened to 59-61 HRC, with a flat grind, satin finish, 0.09-inch thickness, and bronze washer pivot assembly.

The knife has a handle thickness of only 0.39 inches and weighs just 1.65 ounces with its included brown leather lanyard. The scales are available in green and red G10, paired with a gray stainless steel back spacer and stainless steel screws. There’s also an Ultem-handled model with a blacked-out blade.

MSRP: $62.00, $74.00 for the Ultem version

The Cold Steel Finn Hawk 2

Cold Steel has just introduced the Finn Hawk 2, an upgraded version of the original polymer-handled Finn Hawk that many users, myself included, loved. This new model features full tang construction and durable Micarta handles. The 4-inch CPM 3V blade comes with a traditional Scandi grind for excellent slicing and wood processing.

The overall length is 8.6 inches, with a 4.6-inch handle, and it weighs 6.4 ounces. The Finnhawk 2 comes with a nice leather pouch sheath, too. I’ll be watching for these to drop this year.

MSRP: $279.99

CRKT Counterpart

The CRKT Counterpart, designed by Ken Onion, should make a great EDC knife that disappears in your pocket. It features a 3.38-inch drop-point blade made of 12C27 stainless steel. It has a satin finish, flat grind, and is only 0.110 inches thick. The Counterpart opens smoothly via an IKBS ball-bearing pivot and is securely locked with an ambidextrous Crossbar Lock.

The glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle provides a tough yet lightweight feel, and the whole knife is just 2.05 ounces. An adjustable deep-carry tip-up pocket clip allows right- or left-hand carry. The knife measures 7.75 inches overall and 4.42 inches when closed. Other color options are available as well.

MSRP: $70.00

ESEE Knives El Deguello Machete

The ESEE Knives El Deguello Machete is a weight-forward clearing tool drawing inspiration from effective blades used in El Salvador. Crafted for survival, bushcraft, and tough outdoor work, it’s designed for chopping through dense vegetation with its generous belly and forward balance. The 12.75 inch edge is made of rugged 1075 carbon steel (3/32-inch thick) for toughness and easy field sharpening.

A smooth Micarta handle provides a secure, comfortable grip, enhanced by a brass-lined lanyard hole for wet conditions. Overall length is 18.75 inches, weight 19 ounces. It’s made for ESEE in El Salvador and comes with a canvas sheath.

MSRP: $139.00

MKM Bolero

The new Bolero is a David C Andersen design, made in Italy by MKM. It has a 2.91-inch drop point blade of S30V steel, with a hardness of 58-60 HRC and a stonewashed finish. The handle is made of titanium, with titanium ring bolsters on the pivot screw, AISI 303 screws, and an AISI 420 pocket clip. It has an overall length of 6.89 inches and weighs 3.88 ounces.

The folder opens smoothly on a ball bearing pivot via a thumb stud and locks securely with a crossbar system. The Bolero is what you’d expect of Italian craftsmanship: sleek, smooth, and refined.

MSRP: 270 Euros ($320.00 US dollars currently)

Mora Flat Grind Amberg Series

The Morakniv Amberg series is new for 2026 and was just released at SHOT. There are a few models available, but the big news is the brand’s first full-flat-grind blades. This model has a 4.25-inch 14C28N stainless steel blade with a straight clip point and skinning profile, ideal for all-around outdoor use and easy sharpening familiar to North American users. Handles come in black or orange with an overmold for enhanced grip and cold-weather insulation.

The classic Scandi grind remains available in a 4.3-inch blade, offered in 12C27 stainless steel or traditional carbon steel. I’ve long been a fan of Moras and initially scoffed at a flat ground model. I have to admit, though, after seeing and handling it, I want to try one out now.

MSRP: TBD

Ontario Knives XL Hunter

Ontario Knives is steadily bringing US-made products back into its lineup. The latest is from the Old Hickory Outdoors line, and is being made for them by TOPS Knives. The XL Hunter has the lines of the Old Hickory butcher knife, but is built a lot tougher than its kitchen counterpart. It measures 10.25 inches overall, with a 5.5-inch clip-point blade crafted from 1095HC high-carbon steel. It’s finished with either a Sniper Gray or Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish.

The full tang construction ensures exceptional strength and durability. It’s fitted with a red-canvas Micarta handle, vibrant orange liners, and even features a bow-drill divot. The XL Hunter comes with a brown leather belt sheath for convenient carry.

MSRP: $270.00 (admittedly a lot more than the Old Hickory kitchen butcher knives, but this one is built a lot tougher)

SOG One-Zero Budget AU

The new SOG Knives One Zero Budget AU delivers premium performance in a compact, accessible everyday carry folder. It features a satin-finished AUS-10 drop-point blade around 3 inches in length. The knife deploys quickly and automatically with one hand via SOG’s advanced AU-Lock mechanism. A textured G10 handle provides a confident, secure grip without adding unnecessary bulk.

With an overall length of 7.7 inches and a lightweight 3.97-ounce build, it balances strength, portability, and versatility perfectly for daily tasks. Handles are available in black, blue, and purple G10, and black and stonewashed blades are available, depending on the model.

MSRP: should be around $139.99

Spyderco Charisma

Spyderco always has a lot of great releases at SHOT, and the Charisma is no exception. It’s a lightweight, compact folding knife designed by Eric Glesser and made in Golden, Colorado. It features a 2.98-inch drop-point CTS-BD1N stainless steel blade, with a full flat grind, satin finish, and plain edge for excellent slicing performance. The blade is just 0.050 inches thick, and the cutting edge measures 2.80 inches.

When closed, the knife is 3.82 inches long, opening to an overall length of 6.80 inches. It has a durable black FRN handle, a reliable lockback mechanism, and a versatile wire pocket clip for tip-up carry on either left or right side. Weighing only 0.81 ounces, the Charisma offers an exceptionally lightweight and pocket-friendly everyday carry option. I guarantee you I will forget this thing clipped to my pants and run it through the wash more than once.

MSRP: $130.00

UCO Hannegan Crossbar Folder

The UCO Hannegan Crossbar Knife is the latest in the UCO folding knife line. I have the earlier slipjoint models and have really liked them. This one features a Nitro-V steel blade with a TiNi finish for edge retention, excellent corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening. It offers fast, one-handed opening via a thumb disk and secure locking with a crossbar lock.

G10 scales provide a stable, grippy handle that’s available in red or OD Green. A low-profile pocket clip keeps it securely and comfortably accessible for everyday carry.

MSRP: $74.99

Vosteed Raccoon Tislim

A buddy showed me one of these early in the show, and I had to go check it out in person. The Vosteed Raccoon Tislim has an overall length of 7.55 inches and weighs just 2.69 ounces. It features a 3.18-inch drop-point blade made of 154CM steel with a flat grind, satin finish, plain edge, 1.10-inch width, and 0.10-inch thickness. The 4.37-inch gray titanium handle includes a thumb stud for ambidextrous opening and a tip-up pocket clip suitable for right- or left-hand carry.

The blade is secured by a reliable crossbar lock. Specs aside, this is a sleek, trim, elegant folder that still feels comfortable and solid in the hand. I came home with one of these from the show and can’t wait to put it through its paces.

MSRP: $135.00

WE Knife Fluxor

The We Knife Fluxor is a premium folding knife with a 3.98-inch Wharncliffe blade crafted from Bohler M390 stainless steel. It features a flat grind, stonewashed bevels, and brushed flats for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. It deploys smoothly on caged ceramic ball bearings and secures with a nested liner lock. The handle is made of black 6AL4V titanium with a matching black titanium backspacer, liners, pivot cap, screws, and right-hand, tip-up pocket clip.

Closed length is 5.05 inches, overall open length 9.03 inches, blade thickness 0.16 inches, and weight 4.39 ounces. It’s extremely well built, like all of WE’s knives, and makes for a classy ECC knife that should perform as well as it looks.

MSRP: $340.00
