The far-left Democrats plan to ‘dig deep into the real questions’ like ‘Is the Democratic Party dead?’
Former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.) teased that he and his fellow ousted House Democrat, Cori Bush (Mo.), had “a big announcement” coming. The grand reveal? A Substack.
“Stay tuned tomorrow. Me and Cori Bush got a big announcement. Big drop tomorrow. Stay tuned. Peace and love coming right to you,” Bowman said in a video posted Monday.
The next morning, the far-left Democrats unveiled their Substack that will “dig deep into the real questions shaping our world today.”
“We just want to come and let you know something spectacular that’s about to go down,” Bush said alongside Bowman in a Tuesday video. “We are starting our own Substack!”

“It’s called ‘The Capital Offense,’ y’all,” the pair said together.
“The question is: Is it ‘The Capitol Oh-Fence’ or is it ‘Off-Fence’?” Bush said, changing her intonation. “It’s a double, quadruple, quintuplet entendre,” Bowman said.
“I guess it depends on the day. It depends on the hour,” Bush responded, encouraging viewers to subscribe to their new Substack as Bowman flexed his biceps.
In their inaugural post, Bush and Bowman described themselves as “fired up,” ready to ask “real questions” like “Is the Democratic Party dead?” and “How do we fight the oligarchy?”
“Let’s be real: our political system isn’t just broken—it’s hanging on by a thread,” they wrote.
“We are witnessing a hostile takeover of our democracy. And neither party—not the Republicans, not the corporate Democrats—is doing a damn thing to stop it.”
They also criticized President Donald Trump and Elon Musk before taking aim at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which the pair has blamed for their losses during last year’s primaries.
“AIPAC spent record-breaking money to defeat us,” Bowman and Bush wrote. “But guess what? Now the whole country knows who AIPAC really is—an anti-democratic, right-wing lobby that cares more about power and Israel’s interests than American democracy.”
“We lost a battle, but make no mistake—we are winning the war for humanity,” the Democrats added.
Bowman and Bush took anti-Israel stances before losing their primary races, both accusing the Jewish state of “genocide,” “mass murder,” and “ethnic cleansing.” Bowman excused the anti-Israel Columbia University protesters who stormed a campus building, saying “protesters are gonna do what they got to do.” Bush, after her defeat, said “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down.”
In their Substack, Bowman and Bush accused Trump and Musk of robbing from the poor “to line the pockets of the ultra-rich,” while “weak Democratic leaders refuse to fight back.”
“ENOUGH,” they wrote. “We are here to name the problem, expose the players, and build real solutions—together.”
