‘You’re a dirty Jew. I’m going to f—g kill—kill you all, and I know who you are and where you live,’ Dr. Feras Hamdan allegedly yelled

Authorities on Friday charged a doctor who allegedly threatened to kill Jewish congressman Max Miller (R., Ohio) and his one-year-old daughter as part of an anti-Semitic rant.

Feras Hamdan—a family medicine physician in Cleveland—turned himself in to police after Miller on Thursday filed a criminal complaint for aggravated menacing. Hamdan appeared in court Friday afternoon, with Judge Joseph Burke setting bond at $500,000, Fox 8 News Cleveland reported.

When the Washington Free Beacon reached out to Hamdan’s clinic for comment, the person who answered the phone said, “Not at this time,” and hung up.

Miller, a Marine veteran, said in a Thursday video posted on X that an “unhinged, deranged man” ran him off the road.

The deranged hatred in this country has gotten out of control. Today I was run off the road in Rocky River, and the life of me and my family was threatened by a person who proceeded to show a Palestinian flag before taking off. I have filed a police report with Capitol Police and… pic.twitter.com/H6JnupcRIA

“I was just driving to work, and I was cut off by a man in a Tesla who held up a Palestinian flag to me and then rolled down his window and said that ‘I’m going to cut your throat and your daughter’s,'” Miller told a 911 dispatcher, according to separate audio obtained by The Forward. “And he said, ‘You’re a dirty Jew. I’m going to fucking kill—kill you all, and I know who you are and where you live.'”

“I am a little shaken, to be quite honest,” Miller told the dispatcher. “I have a weapon on me. I’m glad I didn’t use it.”

This isn’t the first time Miller has faced anti-Semitic hostility. In December 2023, an anti-Israel House staffer confronted him in the halls of the Cannon Office Building and said, “Free Palestine,” Miller told the Free Beacon in an interview at the time.

Hamdan faces a second charge of “menacing with an ethnic intimidation specification,” Fox 8 News Cleveland reported. The FBI, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are all investigating the case alongside local police, while U.S. Capitol Police are expected to provide security for Miller and his family.
