New York City first lady Rama Duwaji’s old X account has been deleted in the wake of the Washington Free Beacon’s reporting that Duwaji, Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife, had celebrated Palestinian terrorists, including a hijacker, on that profile and on an old Tumblr account.

The account was nuked sometime Thursday afternoon, a day after the Free Beacon story was published.

The Tumblr account—which had fallen into disuse and been overrun with pornographic content—remained online as of Friday. The lewd material no longer appears on the profile page, indicating that it may have been reclaimed.

Representatives for Mamdani did not respond to requests for comment.

Duwaji used the since-deleted X account to repost a photo of terrorist Shadia Abu Ghazaleh holding a rifle for International Women’s Day in March 2015, when Duwaji was 17 years old. Ghazaleh, a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist group, was killed in 1968 when a bomb she was building in her home—which she intended to use to blow up a building in Tel Aviv—exploded accidentally.

That same year, Duwaji reposted a lengthy thread complaining about Snapchat’s decision to feature Tel Aviv on its platform.

“But in all reality, @Snapchat has disappointed me,” read part of the thread Duwaji reposted. “Fuck #TelAviv. Shouldn’t exist in the first place. They’re occupiers. You celebrate them.”

In 2013, when the future first lady was around 15 years old, she posted slurs targeting black people and gay people on her now former X account.

“@_AlyaF Helllll yeah, nigga,” she posted on Feb. 2, 2013. “Super duper genius* excuse you.”

“Whyyyyyy are all these fgts folllowing [sic] meeeeeeeee,” she added on June 16 that same year.

Mamdani did not receive questions about Duwaji from New York City’s press corps during a Thursday conference.
