Left-wing ‘climate anxiety’ is through the roof as U.S. coal consumption jumps 14 percent in the first half of 2025

Donald Trump is having an incredible month of August. He’s on the verge of securing a lasting peace deal in Ukraine after meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska and flying a B-2 bomber over the dictator’s head. The stock market is at an all-time high. The deranged anti-Trump hooligans at MSNBC have been forced to endure a humiliating rebrand from which they will likely never recover.

Trump secured another important victory last week when a team of climate scientists revealed, in a departure from recent trends, America outpaced China in CO2 emissions growth during the first six months of 2025. U.S. emissions rose by 4.2 percent on Trump’s watch, while Chinese emissions fell by 2.7 percent.

The disparity is noteworthy because the United States has lagged behind China for years in total emissions output, largely driven by coal consumption. Thanks to Trump’s leadership, America’s coal consumption jumped 14 percent compared to the first half of 2024 thanks to “robust power demand,” while China’s fell by 2.6 percent. The filthy communist nation remains the global leader in carbon emissions, but has invested massively in inferior alternatives to coal, such as wind and solar power.

Rob Jackson, a climate nerd from Stanford University, told Politico the United States and China are on “different trajectories now” thanks to Trump’s common-sense energy policy. By reducing investment in unsightly “clean” technologies and rolling back the Obama-era mandate for electric vehicles, Trump is positioning the United States to overtake the Reds as undisputed emissions champion when China inevitably collapses due to demographic decline and authoritarian incompetence.

While this is great news for normal Americans with air conditioning and large gas-powered trucks, China’s dwindling emissions could undermine the strategic case for a U.S. military campaign to “save the planet” by wiping out their industrial capacity. Trump’s agenda also threatens to erode the mental health of Kamala Harris’s stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, and other left-wing freaks. Emhoff has lamented her struggles with “climate anxiety,” among other made-up disorders. “I think everything with the environment is really fucking getting to me,” she said in a video she recorded of herself. “It’s just, like, it’s one of those things that’s not funny but, um, you just nervous laugh about it because it’s scary.”

What’s truly scary is the rate at which Trump is piling up wins for America. Earlier this year, he saved America’s most iconic restaurant chain (Hooters) from bankruptcy. Recent developments suggest the president is doing everything in his power to salvage the American cultural institutions liberal elites have been trying to destroy. Bojangles, the beloved fried chicken chain, is preparing to open several locations in Manhattan over the coming years. Last week, the inventors of the groundbreaking IHOP-Applebee’s combo restaurant announced nearly a dozen new locations would be up and running by the end of the year. In case that wasn’t exciting enough, we also learned Trump was planning to host a UFC fight at the White House to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

America is so back, baby.
