Churchill and FDR walked (and rolled) so that Bibi and DJT could strut
There have been some epic bromances over the course of human history. Alexander the Great and his general Hephaestion. Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon. Jefferson and Madison. Churchill and Roosevelt. Lennon and McCartney. Damon and Affleck. Dick and Dubya. It is increasingly likely that we are bearing witness to one of the greatest of all time. The formidable masculine partnership between Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump is raising the art of the bromance to heights unseen since the dawn of man.
Teaming up to demolish Iran’s nuclear program was objectively one of the most epic things any two bros have ever done together. “We worked as a team, like perhaps no team has ever worked before,” Trump said of his collaboration with the Israeli prime minister. A Washington Free Beacon fact check concluded that Trump’s assessment was mostly true. Arguably the only male duo that ever worked together so brilliantly was Little Boy and Fat Man, the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 to end the Second World War.
But just when we thought our own assessment of this remarkable broalition could not be topped, Netanyahu decided to send Trump one of the most awe-inspiring gifts a man of greatness has ever bestowed upon his fellow bro: a Hebrew scroll shaped like a B-2 bomber, fashioned out of a fragment of an Iranian missile fired at Israel in a futile act of retaliation. The inscription was just as epic: “In appreciation for the big, beautiful bombs of Midnight Hammer,” a reference to the U.S. military operation that decimated Iranian nuclear facilities with 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs.
If this incredible act of mutual brofection doesn’t cement the status of the Bibi-Trump bromance as one of history’s greatest, we’re not sure what would. Fortunately for everyone involved—except their enemies, who deserve what’s coming—this magnificent pair of history-shaping, destiny-drenched manly dude bros is just getting started.
We can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish together in the days and years and decades to come.
