There’s a certain charm that comes with pro wrestling.
Maybe your favorite wrestler finally overcomes insurmountable odds to become a world champion. Maybe the heel that you loathe finally gets his or her head smashed with a light tube. Or, maybe, the venue you’re watching the sport at is so unique you’ll have memories to cherish.

European promotion Banger Zone Wrestling provided some of those core memories as it hosted Watermania over the weekend. The event took place at Centre Aquatique Aquoise in Méru, France, on Saturday. The ring was placed on floats in the middle of a pool.
The card featured a Royal Baignade match that saw a handful of wrestlers trying to eliminate each other over the top rope. Video from the match showed wrestlers trying to get their balance in the ring with multiple wrestlers in the ring. Notable names like Donovan Dijak and LJ Clearly were also on the card.

As videos made rounds on social media, the pro wrestling world weighed in with shock, awe and excitement. They are clips you have to see to believe.
OutKick Dropkick has been to multiple pro wrestling events this year from WWE and AEW to Awesome Championship Wrestling, Fight Factory Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling. None of the matches the companies hosted had anything floating on water, though Lady Frost did throw Steph De Lander into the Atlantic Ocean at The War on the Shore 3.

Still, having matches in a pool proved to be unique and probably a little more chaotic than anyone bargained for. Pro wrestling is all about innovative ideas whether it comes to move sets or venues and Banger Zone Wrestling delivered and then some.
